19 Times Femdom and Findom Appeared in Mainstream Movies and TV Shows

I have always been fascinated (and let’s be honest, more than a little excited) whenever a reference to one of my fetishes appears in a mainstream movie or TV show. And yes, my passion is not limited to Findom, since foot fetish (especially when stockings, pantyhose and heels are involved) is part of who I am as well.

Imagine the situation: you are watching a movie with someone else, everything feels ordinary, and suddenly a very specific scene comes up. You recognize it instantly, you know exactly what is being portrayed, and you are the only one in the room who truly understands it. That private recognition makes the moment even more intense.

When the reference is about Femdom or Financial Domination, the thrill becomes even greater. These fetishes are often considered unusual, which makes it easy to notice how others react to such scenes. And this is exactly what makes them so exciting. The mix of secrecy, taboo, and recognition is impossible to resist.

Some time ago I thought it would be amazing to gather all these references into one list of mainstream movies and TV shows that feature Femdom or Findom. It is such a niche subject that I could not find anything like this online.

So I posted a question in the amazing subreddit paypigsupportgroup, and once again they came through. With their help I built a list of 19 titles that, in one way or another, include Femdom or Findom references.

Here is the full list, ranked from the most relevant to the least. Enjoy, and if you know any other titles that belong here, make sure to share them in the comments.

  1. Use Me (2019, film)
This is probably the closest thing you will ever see to findom put straight into a movie. It is built around Ceara Lynch, a famouse real-life humiliatrix. You get scenes where the filmmaker himself becomes part of her web, with humiliation and money right at the center. No sugar-coating, no metaphors. It feels raw, it feels real, and it is exactly the vibe of financial domination. (By the way, when it was only a kickstart project, I wrote about this movie here)
  2. Sanctuary (2022, film)
A hotel room, a rich heir, and a domme who knows exactly how to twist the knife. Margaret Qualley plays her role perfectly, switching between cold control and playful cruelty. The scenes where she pushes him into giving more, even demanding half of his future salary, show how close this film gets to actual findom. It is a battle of control where money, power and desire all mix into one.
  3. Bonding (2019–2021, series)
Lighthearted, sometimes silly, but still very telling. A young dominatrix and her assistant explore clients, kinks, money and the practical side of running sessions. At times it feels exaggerated, but then you catch moments of genuine femdom energy and even glimpses of findom play. Not perfect, but it scratches the itch.
  4. Dogs Don’t Wear Pants (2019, film)
Dark, emotional, and intense. A widower discovers freedom through sessions with a dominatrix who takes him into breath play and ritualized control. The power dynamic is raw and uncomfortable at times, but it nails the way submission can give relief and meaning. You see the studio, the payment, the structure of real pro-domme work woven into the story.
  5. The Duke of Burgundy (2014, film)
This is elegance and devotion turned into cinema. A lesbian couple living inside a ritual of mistress and maid, filled with rules, punishments, and carefully scripted routines. It is not about money, but it is entirely about power, service, and surrender. One of the most beautiful portrayals of femdom ever made.
  6. Moonlight Whispers (1999, film)
Young love twisted by desire and control. The girl slowly realizes she can bend him into whatever shape she wants, even humiliating him in front of others. It is messy, it is teenage, but the femdom energy is undeniable. Control through humiliation and the thrill of being obeyed.
  7. Love and Leashes (2022, film)
A rom-com with collars, contracts, and safe words. It plays it lighter, but still manages to show a woman taking control of a man’s desires and leading the dynamic. Not financial, not cruel, but playful and confident. It is nice to see femdom wrapped in a mainstream, charming love story.
  8. The Chauffeur (2012, short)
Short but sharp. A chauffeur and an actress caught in a dynamic where his need for humiliation becomes her playground. It is dialogue-driven, all about control and surrender, and it captures that feeling of being willingly used by someone who knows exactly what she is doing.
  9. After Fall, Winter (2011, film)
A romance that turns darker when the woman reveals her dominatrix side. Sessions, pain, pleasure, and blurred lines between love and control. It is not always convincing, but when it works, it captures how easily power dynamics slip into intimacy.
  10. My Mistress (2014, film)
A young boy finds comfort with a professional domme. It has leather, sessions, and scenes of control, but more than anything it shows the attraction to authority and the safety inside surrender. Not really about money, but the femdom mood is definitely there.
  11. Dying for Sex (2025, limited series)
A woman facing death decides to live everything she never dared. Some episodes show her stepping into a dominatrix role, testing power, exploring control. It is not a pure femdom show, but those glimpses carry weight because they are about someone claiming authority over their life and others.
  12. Planet Earth (1974, TV movie)
This is pure matriarchy. A world where women rule and men are literally enslaved. It is campy and old-fashioned, but the idea of an inverted power structure is central. If you want the fantasy of female dominance turned into society itself, this is it.
  13. Basic Instinct (1992, film)
Catherine Tramell is the archetype of the dangerous woman who owns every man in the room. The interrogation scene, the way she plays with the detectives, all pure dominance through confidence and sexual control. Not BDSM, but a perfect example of female power as weapon.
  14. The Girlfriend Experience (2009, film)
More about escorting than domination, but still useful for understanding how money itself becomes part of power. The whole film revolves around control through transaction, screening, and rules. It is not femdom, but it carries some echoes of financial dynamics.
  15. Bet (2025, series)
A school run on debts and dares, with losers ending up as house pets serving the winners. Not sexual, but the vibe is all about hierarchy and enforced service. It scratches the fantasy of structured control in a very obvious way.
  16. Scandal (2012–2018, series)
Olivia Pope is not a dominatrix, but she embodies authority. The way she commands men, rooms, and entire situations makes her a femdom icon for many. A switch behind closed doors maybe, but in public she is all dominance.
  17. Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003, film)
The Bride is not about femdom, but she is pure female power. The way she cuts through enemies, the way the whole film revolves around her unstoppable will, has the same appeal of a woman no man can control.
  18. Secretary (2002, film)
A classic BDSM movie, but in reverse. Here the woman is the submissive. Still worth noting because of how it shows protocol, structure, and ritual, but it is the opposite of femdom.
  19. Fifty Shades of Grey (2015, film)
Mainstream BDSM dressed up as romance, but again the woman is submissive. Included only because of how known it is. Not relevant for femdom, except to show what it is not.
